Metrolina Recycling Center recycles the municipal waste from Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It is publicly-owned, privately operated by Casella/FCR. Processes about 60,000 tons of recyclables per year in a single incoming incoming stream. Newsprint is made into US Greenfibercellulose insulation.
